I went to Glebe to go to a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant that I was recommended to go but it was closed!!!!
There are not any vegetarian restaurants in Glebe but we did not want to drive because it was late already so we picked a Mexican restaurant that seemed to be the busiest on Glebe point rd.
Baja cantina-Mexican restaurant and beer garden

Inside was totally full!

And outside beer garden was also full! very busy restaurant!!! It was late at Sunday night so it is a good sign!
I found out later that this restaurant was on TV a couple years ago …
We ordered
Baja’s famous Nachos $10

Fresh corn chips topped with refried black beans, melted jack cheese, salsa of your choice, guacamole, sour cream and jalapenos ( fresh or pickled)
We didn’t choose anything so ” pickled” jalapenos came.
sooo many jalapenos and was quite hot so I did not have chance to use ” hot sauce”

or not mention
” xxxtra hot sauce “

I did taste both sauce though. xxxtra hot sauce was really hot!!!
Corn chips are freshly deep-fried and everything is really fresh. Very nice!
We were starving but this portion was really big! We both have huge appetite
( whoever live with me or travel with me always surprised how much I eat a day )
but we felt really full after this Nachos. This nachos is $10 so I think it is a great value!
Then main that is when ” tragedy” happened….
Fajitas
marinated meat with sauteed capsicum and onions. Served with salsa, cheese, crema, onion, lettuce, guacamole, rice and beans and flour tortillas
you can choose from
with chicken $20
with steak $24
with prawn $25
but we choose ” vegetarian”

It was huge amount of sauteed capsicum and onion, I think we got extra since we ordered vegetarian. Good!
Foil under salsa and guacamole is tortillas. It is again, HUGE portion!!!
Quesadilla $14
Crispy flour tortilla filled with cheese, fire-roasted chilies and served with rice and beans
you can add meat or seafood to add extra $ but we didn’t.
Can you see ” green ” thing on top of rice??

This does not look harmful but…I just popped into my mouth without thinking much then….*@#$%^^&**((()!!!!!!!!! HOOOOOOT!!!!!
drank a few glasses of water straight away, but did not do anything so I had to just put chunk of sour cream onto my tongue to cool my tongue…
gee…It is soooo hot! my tummy and heart were burning!
I thought my chilli tolerance is pretty high after surrounded by all South East Asian friends last 10 years but I was wrong!
I asked a waitress what it was cos I could not think that was jalapenos. I have never had such a seriously and deadly hot jalapenos in my life! but it was jalapenos…
My boyfriend could not believe that I reacted such way so he actually ordered jalapenos to try…

Well, he got the same reaction as me….
We both were seriously attacked by this jalapeno ….but we both enjoyed except the burning our tongue part….
